The Navigator Company announced today that it will increase the prices of its tissue paper (toilet paper, napkins, kitchen rolls, hand towels, among others) by between 8 and 10% in all markets where it operates, for shipments from May 2024, with the aim of mitigating the increase in production costs.

This decision, which is being communicated to its customers, was taken following the accelerated cycle reversal that has been accentuated since last August 2023, when a very significant increase in production costs began, particularly in paper pulp. , the main factor in the cost of tissue production. The international pulp price reference index (short fiber) has risen 65% since August 2023. Last week, a new pulp price for May was announced, which will be the highest price ever historically recorded in the sector, representing a further increase 10% compared to today’s price.

Navigator states that this exceptional measure is essential to guarantee the long-term sustainability not only of its business model and financial balance but also of the global supply chain, with its Customers and Suppliers.

The Company will continue to develop the business in partnership with its customers, reinforcing the value proposition in several dimensions such as the high quality of products, service and innovations in its products.
