O The UFC world has rallied around Francis Ngannou. The former champion of this martial art is mourning the death of his son Kobe, just 18 months old.
The news was reported by the Cameroonian press and confirmed by Francis Ngannou on social media. The athlete admits that he is going through a difficult phase and has received dozens of messages of support.
“What’s the point of life if what we fight tooth and nail to escape is what finally hits us the hardest! Why is life so unfair and merciless? Why does life always take from us what we don’t have we? I’m very tired”, Ngannou began by writing on the X social network.
Hours later, the former UFC champion made a new post on social media, in which he admitted that he was going through the worst moment of his life.
“Too early to leave, but still he went. My boy, my companion, my Kobe was full of life and joy. Now he is lying lifeless. I screamed his name over and over, but he didn’t answer me. I was my best version next to him and now I don’t know who I am. Life is unfair and it hits us where it hurts the most. How can you live with this? I really don’t know what to do and I don’t know how to deal with this”, lamented the fighter.
