The non-removable battery is integrated into the 208.8 Wh frame, with a maximum range of 80 km, in the simplest configuration, which requires less use. Furthermore, like any electric model, the Air has pedal assistance powered by a 250 W rear hub motor. The bike can also reach a maximum speed of 30 km/h, depending on the configuration. The bike does not have gears, which can make it difficult to use on steeper terrain.
Features of Carbon Electric Bike
Another function that differentiates the Air from electric models is the absence of a display on the handlebars. The conventional screen with information about battery, speed and other elements is not present in this model. Instead, the company offers a smartwatch linked to the bicycle.
The same watch is also used to unlock the bike. The model also has a fingerprint sensor on the top bar of the bike, surrounded by a light ring, with the same function.
The carbon fiber electric bicycle is now available for pre-order, with a launch price of US$1,799, or R$9,336. According to the company, the first models are expected to be shipped worldwide starting in August.
