Josh Davila had a beard and mustache for almost five years. Recently, he decided to shave it and his wife, Robison, recorded the moment their 4-year-old daughter, Wren, saw her father with the new look. The child’s reaction was so loving that it brought the man to tears, also moving social media users.
Wren’s mouth dropped open when she saw Josh without a beard. “Can you give me a kiss?” asked the girl, laughing along with her parents. Later, the man kissed his daughter on the face. “It’s so soft. You look so different”, said the child, adding that he “loved it” and that his father looked “so handsome”, making him emotional.

Wren’s parents weren’t expecting their daughter’s praise, Robison told People, but she says she wasn’t surprised that Josh cried, as he was never afraid to show his emotions, especially when it came to girl.
“Wren has been making him cry because of his love for her since day one, but I have to say I wasn’t expecting him to cry the way he did after she told him he was beautiful. I think we were both waiting for a good laugh”, joked the woman.
The loving video went viral on TikTok, with 2.8 million views, and the parents received lots of praise from users. “Someone mentioned that the video was helping to heal their inner child, which is something that will stick with me. To think that a cute moment that we decided to record of our daughter could have such a profound impact on people is very special to us,” said Robison.
