Motorcyclists suffer accident in the globe of death and one is injured in MS

An accident involving three motorcyclists, during the performance of the acrobatic show “Globo of Death” at the Mundo Mágico circus, in Campo Grande, left a man injured on Tuesday night (1). See the video above.

The moment was recorded by people who were watching the show and were scared when the motorcycles fell.

In the images it is possible to see the moment when one of the motorcyclists loses his balance and falls, followed by the other two motorcyclists who were participating in the presentation. In the video you can hear the reaction of people who were at the scene, “my God”.

The owner of the circus, Wellington Gregório Nogueira, responsible for the show, informed the reporter that one of the globistas, as the motorcyclists who participate in this performance are called, fractured his leg and needed medical attention, but is doing well.

“One of our Globistas injured his leg, but thank God he’s fine, he’s really fine, he’s almost ready for another one, he’s under observation and should be discharged from hospital between today and tomorrow,” he said.

Still according to Wellington, the accident occurred due to a mechanical failure.

“It happened yesterday that the cane, the cane, the shock absorber of the motorcycle broke and oil spilled on the globe, and it’s round, right? It’s a sphere, the motorcycle slipped, and he fell, and the others also fell as a result of the oil” .

According to the circus owner, the specific globe of death is small and measures 3 meters and 80 meters in diameter.

” They run in four, in the case of yesterday they had run two, the third came in and then the fourth came in, when there was this incident, which is the challenge between man and machine. We carry out maintenance periodically, we have a workshop that supports the circus. The bikes go there every Monday, they are checked, they are looked at, but unfortunately this challenge continues.”

The globe of death consists of a kind of cage in the shape of a steel sphere where motorcyclists, in varying numbers, ride their motorcycles inside it. It is an attraction commonly used in circus performances.
