The homicide investigation team from the Sorriso Police Station arrested, this Thursday (05/02), three people involved in the murder of a teenager who died last night in the city.
Two adults, aged 18 and 24, were arrested and a 16-year-old teenager was arrested. In the house where two of them were arrested, investigators located a firearm, ammunition and a grenade.
The Civil Police identified the trio’s involvement in the death of Andrei Cordeiro de Moura, 17 years old, on Wednesday night, in the Mário Raiter neighborhood.
According to information gathered during the investigation, the victim was driving a Gol vehicle and arrived at Rua 13 de Maio already injured by a gunshot and asking for help. Andrei was rescued by the Fire Department at Sorriso Regional Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries, one of which was on his neck.
During the attack on the victim, the teenager’s father was also injured by a gunshot. Andrei was involved with a criminal faction.
Investigations continue to identify other possible parties involved in the homicide and who gave the order to carry out the crime.
