As predicted, the price received by milk producers in Paraná continues to rise as winter approaches. Currently sold at R$2.40 per liter used in the industry, according to the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), the product registered an increase of 2.87% in the monthly average. However, compared to March 2023, there is still a drop of 15.3%.

These data were published in the Agricultural Situation Bulletin for the week of April 26th to May 2nd, prepared by Deral technicians.

In addition to the increase in prices, producers also benefit from the reduction in grain prices. Currently, 24 liters of milk are needed to purchase a bag of corn and 50 liters for a bag of soybean meal. Compared to the same month in 2023, the proportions were 31.8 and 67 liters per bag, respectively.
