A 17-year-old teenager stabbed his adoptive mother to death. Before murdering his wife with six stab wounds, the young man had already beheaded the family dog, and he was also the one who called the emergency services to confess what had happened.
The crime took place in Badajoz, Spain. After arriving at the scene, authorities found the 60-year-old woman dead, and the young man left the apartment shortly after the deadly attack, says the newspaper “La Voz da Galicia”. The agents ended up finding the murder weapon in the trash containers.
As for the reasons for the attack, everything indicates that the young man suffered a violent outburst. According to SIC Notícias, the pet, which also died at the hands of the teenager, was the reason for the argument between mother and son.
The teenager beheaded the animal while he was alone in the apartment and placed the dog’s remains in a box, which he deposited in the trash. Upon arriving home shortly afterwards, the 60-year-old woman, who was a primary school teacher, was attacked by her son and died from six stab wounds.
The young man was arrested and is admitted to a psychiatric center, after being brought before the court.
