This Saturday (4), on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, there will be the expected show by singer Madonna, the last of the ‘Celebration Tour’, which starts at around 9:45 pm and is expected to last two hours. It will be possible to follow the presentation on open TV, with broadcast on TV Globo, right after the soap opera Renascer, and on pay TV, on Multishow, in addition to the open signal from Globoplay to show the show. Outside of the live broadcast, the opening, starting at 8pm, will feature the presence of the American DJ Diplo, and the post-show will feature Leme on stage, in front of the main event, Pedro Sampaio.
Recife will be well represented among the show’s audience and fanbase, as one of Madonna’s biggest admirers is already present in Rio de Janeiro, preparing for the big moment. José William, known as Madoninho, has already attended 19 of the artist’s shows, he remembers the importance she has in her story. “I always saw Madonna as a way of expressing myself, a way of accepting my sexuality, of fighting to be what I am. My mother was also always a big fan of hers and influenced me a lot too. In 2015, I saved money to go to Italy, for a Madonna show, and it was there that, during the performance, she saw me dressed as a nun and pulled me onto the stage, asking me to dance in front of her. It was a very magical moment. put me in the credits of her DVD, which made me famous in the ‘madonic’ world”, he tells Viver.
A resident of Alto José do Pinho, Madoninho owns a pub completely decorated with the singer. “My intention has always been to make people in the community know and learn who Madonna is and realize the possibility for anyone, including me as an example, to make their own dreams come true. I’ve been to 19 of her shows and this is the one for which I I have the greatest expectations, due to the fact that it will be the biggest of all in her career. Here in Rio, I feel like a famous person, especially among Madonna fans. It will be another dream come true”, he adds.
