UA 46-year-old man died following an accident with a tracked machine that was clearing agricultural land in Castro Marim, in the Algarve, this Saturday.

The equipment may have fallen sideways, as confirmed by the News by the Minute with the Algarve Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.

Death was declared at the scene.

The alert was given at 10:08 am.

There were 13 operatives at the scene, including from the National Republican Guard (GNR), INEM and the Vila Real de Santo António and Castro Marim Fire Department, accompanied by three vehicles and a helicopter.
