The launch of the new Pixel 8a is expected to be just a few hours away. Google will organize Google I/O tomorrow, where it should be one of the new features presented.
This new smartphone should arrive with a 6.1″ AMOLED screen with FullHD resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 2000 nits and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The processor will be the Tensor G3, developed by Google itself, and will be accompanied by 8 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.
For photography, it has a 64 MP f/1.89 main sensor and a 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle secondary camera, while the front camera is also 13 MP. As is normal with Google equipment, this model has great support from artificial intelligence to improve the camera’s final processing.
The Pixel 8a will have a 4492 mAh battery, with a promise of 24 to 72 hours of autonomy, and fast wired charging and the possibility of wireless charging.
It also has Dual SIM (NanoSIM + eSIM), stereo speakers, fingerprint sensor under the screen, USB-C 3.2 and WiFi 6E.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 152.1×72.7×8.9 mm and will be available in Volcanic Black, Porcelain Blue, Sky Blue, Green and Aloe Vera.
