Between Friday (3) and Sunday (5), six deaths and three attempted murders were recorded in Campos dos Goytacazes. Among the murders, two couples were shot at close range in different locations. Until this publication, there was still no information on suspects for any of the crimes committed.

A man was shot dead and two other people were shot on Avenida Nossa Senhora do Carmo, in Parque Aurora, on Friday night (3). According to the Military Police, the death was the result of an exchange of gunfire between two people. The victims are hospitalized in serious condition at Hospital Ferreira Machado (HFM).

A man was shot in the leg while riding a motorcycle with his brother on the Santa Rosa road on Saturday night (3). On Sunday morning (5), a man was shot dead in Areia Branca, in the district of Morro do Coco.
Santa Rosa Park
A man and a woman were found shot to death on Sunday morning (5), inside their home, on H Street, in Parque Santa Rosa. According to the Military Police, 40 40 and 9 mm capsules were found at the scene.
