One of the military police officers involved in the hit-and-run that took the life of Alcione Antonio Rosa Pireson April 30, recorded in the Police Report that the victim had fallen.
The official document indicates that the vehicle was driven by a soldier, accompanied by a corporal who acted as a patrolman. It was the corporal who registered the report, claiming that the victim “suffered a fall” when approaching the vehicle to receive instructions. The version was confirmed by a witness resident in the region.
A fact that draws attention is that the police report was recorded at 12:40 pm, while the images of the accident only became public later, around 8 pm.

At the time of the accident, the Military Police stated that they opened a Military Police Inquiry (IPM) to investigate the case. This Monday (6), after the victim’s death, the Civil Police said that andit’s investigating the case as manslaughter while driving a motor vehicle.
