The blocists’ parliamentary days began on Monday morning with a visit to Praia Formosa, the largest in Funchal, where initiatives related to combating climate change were discussed.

The BE coordinator, Mariana Mortágua, and the remaining deputies elected to the Assembly of the Republic, as well as the head of the BE list for the anticipated regional legislatures on May 26, Roberto Almada, elected deputy in September last year, were present at these days.

In the afternoon, the delegation was at the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, with the parliamentary leader of BE, Fabian Figueiredo, announcing bills and resolutions related to the fight against corruption.

The blocker highlighted three proposals that aim to prohibit transfers to and from offshores, the extension of declaratory obligations to members of ministerial offices and random inspections.

The day ended with a dinner-rally that featured interventions by Mariana Mortágua and other leaders.
