UA road collision between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle caused serious injuries early this Tuesday morning on Estrada Nacional (EN) 6, known as Avenida Marginal, in Oeiras.
As confirmed by the News by the Minute with the Greater Lisbon Sub-regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command, the accident forced traffic to be cut in both directions.
The seriously injured motorcycle driver is being treated at the scene.
According to the Paço de Arcos Volunteer Firefighters, an accident occurred near the Infante D. Henrique Nautical School, in Paço de Arcos. The alert for the collision was given at 7:51 am.
O News by the Minute You know that the driver was unresponsive and had to be revived by members of the public before the authorities arrived.
There are 11 operational personnel on site, supported by four vehicles, from the Paço de Arcos Volunteer Fire Department.
