The Jury Court of the 2nd Presidency, in Belo Horizonte, sentenced, this Monday (6), Herbert Nascimento to seven years, eight months and 15 days in prison for the murder and concealment of a corpse of Danilo Oliveira Bertoldo, plus payment of a fine.
Justice also penalized Breno Boas dos Santos for five years in a semi-open regime, aggression and concealment of the victim’s body, plus payment of a fine.
The trial was presided over by judge Marcela Oliveira Decat de Moura. When stipulating the sentence, the judge considered the period that the accused remained in prison and, therefore, revoked the preventive detention of both. They can appeal freely.
A woman was present at the time and place of the crime, drinking alcohol and using drugs with Breno, owner of the bar, who was arrested, but it was found that she had no role in the murder.
The military arrived at the scene following anonymous complaints. Businesses were open and operating normally.
According to the PM, The victim was a 16-year-old teenager and had police records for trafficking and homicide.
