This Tuesday, May 7th, Pinto da Costa cedes leadership of FC Porto to André Villas-Boas. On social media, the club paid tribute to the leader of the Porto universe.

Pepe, a FC Porto player, also left a farewell message: “President, a long journey of love for the club, leadership and dedication. A leader who took our club’s name across borders, on a journey of unparalleled victories,” he wrote.
“He believed in my work when I was a young man of 21… And with the same confidence he welcomed me upon my return to Dragão, aged 36. Eternal honor, pride and gratitude for everything we shared and for everything you gave to our Porto”, he added.
