Drake vs Kendrick Lamar: war between songs

-

The rappers are at odds.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar have had a long-standing feud.

Drake is 37 and Kendrick is 36, and they rose to fame in hip hop in the late 2000s and early 2010s. In the beginning, the rappers collaborated on songs and toured together.

But the relationship became more complicated over the years, as their fame grew.

But while in the past the exchanges between the two focused on topics such as who is the biggest star, the lyrics of the tracks recently released by the artists in recent days strayed from the usual lines, moving towards accusations of pedophilia, abuse and infidelity, which shook the world of hip hop.

Drake released a track titled “Family Matters” in which he suggests that Lamar was unfaithful and abusive to his fiancée and teenage girlfriend, Whitney Alford.

“Speak, Drake, I heard you like young people. You better never go to cell block one.”wrote Kendrick literally in a play on words in reference to prison slang for “pedophiles”, in the song “Not Like Us” which he released this Sunday.

Drake denied accusations of pedophilia in “The Heart Part 6”, released yesterday, in which he intones: “I would never look twice at a teenager”.
