UA driver who died following a tragic accident in Massachusetts, United States, was dragged by a bear into the forest.
Daniel Ducharme, 31, lost control of his car on Sunday morning while traveling on Route 91 in Hatfield.
The man died and his body was totally or partially thrown out of the vehicle, a 2016 Honda Civic.
Authorities were alerted to what had happened by another driver, who witnessed the scene. However, when they arrived at the scene, there was no sign of Daniel’s body. The police realized that there was a bear nearby and concluded that the body had been dragged by the animal.
“The evidence leads us to believe that at some point the animal came into contact with the body”, the Massachusetts Police Department said, noting however that Daniel was already dead at that time, having died immediately following the accident.
According to The Independent, the police are investigating what led to the fatal accident.
