A 42-year-old driver was injured after crashing the Citroen C4 Cactus she was driving into a tree this Wednesday morning (8), in the Jardim das Américas neighborhood, in Curitiba. After the accident, she told residents who helped with the rescue that a spider fell into her chest. A security camera recorded the accident. See the video below.

The accident happened on Rua Pedro Demeterco, close to the intersection with Rua Coronel Joaquim Lacerda.

It is not known exactly what happened, but from the security camera images it is possible to see that the car is traveling normally in a straight line, when the driver loses control and crashes into the tree.

While she was being supported by residents because she was trapped in the car, the driver said a spider fell on her chest. The suspicion is that perhaps she got scared and crashed the car.

“I heard the noise, opened the gate, and saw the condition of the car. There was a lot of smoke, but it was from the airbag that exploded. The neighbors arrived to help open the door. She was 100% passed out, we started touching our hands. her, she came back and said that a spider fell on her chest”

said Laer, a resident who helped with the rescue.

After speaking a few words, the woman fainted again, but regained consciousness.

“Help arrived quickly. The airbag saved her, if it exploded and she still hit her chest, it’s a sign that the airbag saved her”

commented the resident.

With injuries considered moderate, the driver was taken to the hospital. Residents helped call her husband to collect the vehicle.
