The Integrated Security Center (CSI), of the Southeast of Pará Reporting Hotline, has just released the photo of a man wanted for murder. This is Brunno Viana Sousa, accused of murdering young Wesley Igreja Albuquerque, 27 years old, with a knife. The crime took place in the early afternoon of November 13 last year, at Folha 28 (Nova Marabá), on the banks of Grota Criminosa. Anyone with information that could lead to the suspect should contact us by calling (94) 3312-3350, where their identity will be kept confidential.
At the time of the murder, the accused was identified only as “Goiano” and allegedly started a fight with the victim around noon. According to Wesley’s father, his son was a user of illegal drugs and this may have been the motivation for the daylight murder.
At one point in the argument, Wesley and “Goiano” got into a physical fight, but “Goiano” did not hold his own and armed himself with a knife. Upon seeing that his enemy was carrying a weapon, Wesley tried to run, but was caught and stabbed in the back.

Wesley Igreja was injured in the middle of the narrow road that runs parallel to Grota Criminosa, on the border of Folha 28 and 20, very close to the house where he lived. An ambulance from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called, as well as the Military Police, but the victim ended up dying before being helped. Now, almost six months later, the Civil Police have identified the suspect and hope to arrest him with the help of society, mainly through anonymous complaints.
