A 15-year-old teenager died after being thrown from the back of a motorcycle in Barro Alto, in the central region of Goiás. The accident involved two motorcycles and also left the young woman’s brother injured.
The collision happened on Tuesday night (7). According to a report from the Military Police, two motorcycles collided at the intersection between two streets. The two young people and the man who was driving the other motorcycle received assistance from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), said the PM.
According to Marco Antônio Maia, the delegate responsible for the case, the young woman died at the Barro Alto Municipal Hospital. The victim’s brother was taken to the Uruaçu hospital and is not at risk of death, Maia said.
“We are now awaiting the rapid recovery of the victim’s brother, so that we can hear him as a witness”, explained Marco Antônio.
The delegate also informed that the Civil Police must carry out a simulated reproduction of the events, as the accident scene was not preserved for forensic examination.
O g1 asked the delegate about the health status of the other motorcyclist, but we did not hear back until the last update of this article. The report also attempted to contact Barro Alto Municipal Hospital by telephone, but the calls were not answered.
The young woman’s wake will be held this Wednesday (8) from 7pm, at the Barro Alto Municipal Cemetery. The burial is scheduled to take place on Thursday (9) at 11am.
