It’s official: the BYD Song Plus DM-i will arrive in Brazil in 2025. The Chinese hybrid and electric car manufacturer confirmed the arrival of the SUV. The difference is: it comes in the look prior to the most recent reformulation that the model underwent in the Asian matrix,
In return, we get a more robust battery, which increases the car’s overall capacity: now, the hybrid SUV covers up to 1,200 kilometers (km) per charge cycle.
The news comes on the heels of two other BYD announcements: in one, also for SUVs, the company confirmed the coming of Yuan Pro here; in the other, the Chinese woman stated the arrival of the pickup truck Shark to the national sector. According to CNN, the multimedia center has a 15.6-inch central screen and horizontal x vertical rotation. An opening system via NFC (compatible card or cell phone) completes the package.
Internally, the hybrid SUV has 235 horsepower (hp), courtesy of a 1.5 gasoline engine and another electric one. It also features adaptive cruise control, high resolution interactive panels, automatic emergency braking and six airbags.
The trunk is the largest in the category, with 574 liters, and the Song Plus DM-i has a wheelbase of 2.76 meters (m). In celebration of the arrival of the new car, BYD is offering up to 90% of the FIPE table value if you already have the previous model and want to upgrade.
The offer, valid until May 31, could be interesting, as the automaker confirmed the suggested price of R$239,800.
