Universa: “Family is everything” is focused on family relationships, in different circles. How is your relationship with your family?
Nathalia Dill:
The target audience for this soap opera is families who are together at that time. It’s the moment when everyone has arrived home, where people are having dinner and socializing. She has this tangent, as if she was grouping people together and was almost a symbol of unity.

I don’t live with my parents anymore, but we were like that when we were together. We had this common point of watching TV. For me, it is very symbolic that the soap opera is called ‘Família é Tudo’ and has this connection with my life.

You are the youngest sister, unlike Venus, who is the oldest. How were you with your brothers?
I shared a room with my sister for 20 years. She’s only a year older, so we had a kind of intense relationship. Everything was ours and shared, which made the sensations stronger. I have a brother who is five years older, but as he was a man, he had his own room and didn’t share anything. My sister and I had this more dynamic relationship.

In life you are the youngest, in the soap opera, you are the oldest sister. So, how did you change this behavior, which I know is different in families?

It’s funny because I’ve always been the youngest among my brothers and cousins. In my father’s family, we are 10 cousins and I am the youngest. When I entered the theater, I was also the youngest. There were many years like this, with me being the youngest in the class.
