Three people died on Wednesday night (8) in an accident that involved an Army truck on BR-448, in Esteio, in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre (RS). According to Zero Hora information, the incident was recorded around 7pm and two other people were seriously injured. All the victims are men.

The accident happened at km 4 of the road and the track had to be blocked for investigation. The highway had been reopened on Wednesday morning and was closed due to of the heavy rains that punish the state of Rio Grande do Sul more than a week ago.

The dynamics of the incident were not disclosed and the Army informed GZH that it is investigating the case, but confirms that it was a collision. The victims have not yet been identified.
