Accident involving a truck and two motorcycles leaves a young man dead and complicates traffic in Contorno Sul

According to the Federal Highway Police, the collision occurred on the road towards Campo Largo.

A young man, aged 25, died in a serious accident, on the morning of this Thursday (9), in Contorno Sul of Curitiba. The crash took place at km 598 of BR-376 and involved a truck and two motorcycles.

According to witnesses, one motorcyclist tried to overtake the other in the corridor and the two crashed. With the impact, the 25-year-old ended up under a truck and ended up being run over. He died at the scene.

“The boy came running down the corridor and went to overtake the larger engine motorbike, he ended up getting lost and hitting the truck’s wheels. The truck driver said he only heard the noise, when he looked in the rear view mirror he saw something rolling and stopped immediately. The driver It wasn’t his fault,” said a boy who witnessed the accident.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the collision was on the road towards Campo Largo. Due to the crash, one lane had to be closed and traffic became difficult in the region.
