O Sporting issued, on Thursday afternoon, a official announcementin which he mourned the death of Francisco Sousa Louro, who was linked to the Alvalade club between 2010 and 2011.
Sousa Louro, partner no. 409 of the Alvalade emblem, was administrator of Sporting’s SAD between 2010 and 2011, resigning from the position in April 2011.
“To family and friends, Sporting CP extends its deepest condolences, whilst praising and thanking you for your years of dedication and devotion to the club”, the statement ends.
Francisco Sousa Louro was also director of the Sociedade Hípica Portuguesa for 12 years and vice-president of the Portuguese Equestrian Federation, between 2002 and 2004.
