Landy Párraga was shot dead in a restaurant in the city of Quevedo. Police point out main line of investigation

The police already have a line of investigation into the early death of the former Miss Ecuador 2022 contestant, aged 23, on April 28th. While she was having octopus ceviche for lunch at a restaurant in the city of Quevedo, Landy Parraga was brutally shot to death.

Before starting the meal, the model had recorded the dish and shared it on her Instagram account with more than 181 thousand followers. Minutes after the post, two armed men entered the place and shot the businesswoman. The situation scared other customers who were in the establishment.

The site’s security cameras recorded the killers’ entire action. The police already know that the men found Párraga after the post that indicated their location. The registration is no longer available on the digital influencer’s account on the social network.

According to information from The Telegraph, local agents found text messages and phone calls between the woman and the Ecuadorian drug trafficker. Leandro Norero. He died two years ago, but does not rule out a connection between the model’s death and the criminal.

The evidence would have been found in Operation Metastasis, initiated to arrest criminals accused of corrupting Ecuadorian state officials. In addition to the messages, photos of Landy were found on the drug dealer’s cell phone.

Agents have already discovered that she received cars and apartments from Norero. Evidence suggests that the two were having an affair outside of marriage. The police still don’t know who killed the model.
