Motorola Razr 50: foldable has supposed prices, color options and storage leaked

Motorola is expected to announce a new generation of foldable cell phones soon to succeed the Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. Leaks have already revealed part of the specifications of the Razr 50 Ultra, which should be a rival to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, and now, new rumors comment on the possible technical details of the Razr 50, which will be the cheapest option in the line.

As announced this Friday (10) by 91Mobilesthe Razr 50 will have at least one option with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. This variant should be launched on the European continent with the same suggested price of €899 (around R$4,989) as the Razr 40 — a model that arrived on the Brazilian market costing R$5,499.

This could mean that, in Europe, the new foldable cell phones will have the same launch price as their respective predecessors. Rumors indicate that the Razr 50 Ultra will cost €1,199 (about R$6,639), which was the same price charged for the Razr 40 Ultra.

At the moment, there are no indications that there will be other memory configurations for the Razr 50, but leakers claim that the foldable phone will be sold in just two color options: Sand (sand) and Gray (gray), which will be new to the line.

The model’s other specifications are still a mystery, but it is possible that the Razr 50 will be equipped with a Qualcomm 7 series platform, such as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, since this is a foldable cell phone designed with a focus on reduced cost. The launch has no scheduled date, but it is possible that it will occur in the middle of the second half of 2024.
