Justino appears alive, expels Simone and takes Cacau as his daughter

Regina (Christine Fernandes) tells Valdemar (Vitor Hugo) that she really couldn’t go to Justino and Simone’s party so that Cacau (Matilde Reymão) wouldn’t recognize her. Pipa (Sílvia Chiola) arrives with Heitor (Adriano Toloza), who introduces himself as Joel to Regina and Valdemar.

Vitória (Teresa Tavares), Sal (Carolina Amaral) and Rui (Nuno Pardal) agree that Justino’s waking up didn’t happen overnight, and his nurses should have already known that. Lola assures Sal that Justino only woke up today, Sal looks at her very suspiciously. Sal blames Tiago (José Condessa) for everything that is going on in his family.

Lalá (Inês Castel-Branco) calls Salomão (Paulo Pires) to confirm that the carmo and trinity fell at home when Justino appeared in the room, also telling him that his mother Lola (Ana Bustorff) is after all very much alive and She is Justino’s caregiver.

Simone (Alexandra Lencastre) tries to make peace with Justino, saying that she always loved him very much and that’s why she went overboard a few times for fear of losing him. She is distressed by Justino telling her that he knows she has an affair with Rui, something she witnessed personally, ordering her to leave his house. Two security guards enter to force Simone to pack her bags.

Sal drinks nervously when Tiago comes in to talk to her. Tiago criticizes Sal for everything she’s been doing, with Sal retorting that he has no right to give her moral lessons after what she did to him in the past. Tiago says he at least tries to make amends for his mistakes. Sal turns his back and ignores him.

Pipa is nervous because Heitor takes over Valdemar and Pipa really wants to stay with her. Regina opens the game with Heitor saying she needs the services of someone like him, calling him by his real name. Hector looks at her surprised and cornered.

Sal looks tensely at Justino, telling him that for now he won’t throw her out of the house like he did with Simone, but warns her that her place is at risk. Júlia comes to hug Justino, who tells her he is very pleased that she is recovering from her son’s death. Justino speaks saying he thinks he was spared death to have the opportunity to meet all of his descendants, telling Cacau to enter. Everyone is stunned. Cacau and Justino share an emotional hug. Sal and Simone are in shock and Tiago is uncomfortable. Marco, in turn, looks at Cacau in amazement.

Heitor is incredulous that Regina told him she wanted to hire his services to protect Cacau and Justino.

Anita (Catarina Nifo) tells Quim (Paulo Calatré) and Filó (Sofia Nicholosn) that she is sure that their lives will improve when Cacau is recognized as Justino’s daughter. Quim turns his back on Kenny (Rafael Medrado). Anita warns Filó not to forget that she has to help her make Quim accept Kenny if she doesn’t want Cacau to know the truth about her not being her mother. Anita assures Kenny that they won’t harm Cacau with her story about selling the chocolate recipe to Sal.

Cacau is very nervous about being there. Marco (Diogo Amaral) gives him strength, giving him his hand, leaving Vitória and Tiago very uncomfortable. Sal and Simone throw themselves at Justino and say that he can’t be okay with recognizing Cacau as his daughter. Jaime shows the paternity test that shows otherwise, leaving everyone stunned. Justino emphasizes that despite having betrayed Simone, he doesn’t regret anything because Cacau was born from pure love. Tiago comes to Cacau to question her about her relationship with Marco, Cacau looks at him tensely. Simone searches the room, telling Sal and Rui that they have to find proof that they were betrayed. Everyone agrees that Justino was helped by Jaime and Lola, and perhaps even Regina. Simone tells Sal to do everything so Justino doesn’t expel her either. Rui is white as nails when Simone says that Justino knows they are lovers.

Cacau tells Tiago that Marco is just a great friend who has been helping her with her story with Justino. Tiago continues to insist to Cacau that Marco wants to get involved with her and that is why he has been so kind to her. Lalá comes to Lola, saying ironically that she looks very good for someone who was about to die.

Marco assures Vitória that he has nothing to do with Cacau, but ends up admitting that he feels in love with her, but doesn’t want that relationship to evolve because they are of very different ages. Vitória angrily tells him that she will never let him have even the slightest contact with the child they are going to have. Soraia apologizes to Marco for listening to the entire conversation.

Tiago comes after Cacau telling her that she is really the woman of his life, and that she is the one he wants to marry and have children with. Cacau can’t resist any longer, responding to Tiago’s kiss. Sal, who saw everything, runs to the interior humiliated. Marco appears and looks shocked at Cacau, who fumbles away from Tiago.
