“Joana [Sobral] or Marcia [Soares]?”, asked the weekly publication, which received the answer from the winner of “Big Brother 2023”: “Márcia.” “Are you still in love with Márcia or does your heart already have another owner?”, wanted to know, soon after, the magazine “I was never in love with Márcia. But not. Above all, I think we created different connections there. It’s been four months that feel like 40 years and I’ve had an excellent relationship with Márcia, Joana… I’d say they’re the people I get along with best out there. Or, at least, who I’ve had the most contact with so far, also because of the programs we had on TVI. There was a friendship with both of them. There’s nothing more than that”, said the northerner.
Márcia Soares reacted to the video, criticizing the initial question raised by the publication. “Do you prefer sweet or savory?”, joked the third ranked reality show from TVI.
On X, formerly Twitter, there were many negative reactions to the question asked to Francisco Monteiro. “Understand that Márcia didn’t criticize or criticize Francisco, but rather the journalism he did! They are both well resolved and only they know. But the question was ridiculous, it was! It’s 2024 and they still ask him these things to give what to say…”, said one internet user, adding: “And don’t judge Zaza. If he was faced with this question, he would answer, wouldn’t he? Would you rather he said he wouldn’t answer?! You would make worse films: ‘I should have told Márcia. How fake’. You always find a way.”
In reaction to this comment, Francisco Monteiro spoke about the controversy. “With any answer I gave, other than the one I gave, I would have been ‘destroyed’. Any one!”, she lamented.
