Justice 2: Balthazar is arrested after being framed by his former bosses
Justice 2 premieres on April 11th and one of the four main plots of the series is that of Balthazar, character defended by Juan Paiva. In the series created by Manuela Dias, the delivery man goes through many difficulties and suffers different twists and turns from the first episode onwards. Watch the teaser above!
What is Balthazar’s story in Justice 2?
Balthazar is a very honest young motorcycle courier full of dreams, who works as a restaurant delivery boy to support his sick grandmother, Dona Regina (Dja Martins). Due to labor rights and a crisis where he works, he ends up being fired and tries to demand his rights.
Everything changes perspective when a robbery at the restaurant casts him under the suspicion of Nestor (Marco Ricca), the owner’s son-in-law and a violent politician who falsely recognizes him for the crime. His name comes to light after Balthazar was confused by the police’s facial recognition system for suspects – a structured registry on racism.
Thus, Balthazar is unjustly arrested and serves a 7-year sentence. He gets out of jail helped by lawyer Cassiano (Luciano Mallmann), who was paralyzed after an attack suffered at the hands of Nestor and wants a partner for his revenge. At the same time, Balthazar wants to rebuild his life.
