‘Leading Role’ Recap: Aurora Surprises Fred in Court Hallway

Irene spreads several products for Lúcia to promote. The villain is excited when she discovers the amount she will receive for doing that promotion. Aurora’s mother asks her if there is anything else about her life that she should know, but the actress hides it and denies it.

At the Teixeira family home, Pedro insists on seeing the wedding dress while Daniela and Alice tease him for being so nervous. At that moment, Aurora rings the doorbell and says that she has returned, as she needs to speak to Fred.

Marcelo and Inês were called to Irene’s office, where she is accompanied by Lúcia. They both say what they thought of the scripts and Irene suggests that Marcelo’s one go forward. Lúcia ends up deciding that she will follow Inês’ script and that she will become series coordinator. Irene and Marcelo are furious.

Aurora surprises Fred, in the court hallway, and tells him that they need to talk.

Marcelo is beside himself with Lúcia’s decision. Inês says that she agrees to work together, but the screenwriter, in a sudden and desperate act, says goodbye and leaves the room, slamming the door.

Aurora, nervous, tells Fred that the time she was away allowed her to see things differently. The boxing instructor asks her to be more specific and, when the actress is about to tell him about her pregnancy, Vera appears. Aurora withdraws and just asks to speak to Fred’s lawyer.

Marcelo invades the recordings and informs the cast that Lúcia has decided to replace him with Inês. The reaction is one of general shock. The screenwriter begins to pick up various objects, saying that they were his ideas and that he is going to take them. Roberto and Miguel look at each other and comment that Lúcia is going to send them all away.

Before the lawyer, Aurora says she wants to drop the complaint. Fred wants to know the reason and his ex-girlfriend just tells him that she knows he wasn’t the man who was chasing her. Vera starts to get furious and accuse Aurora of having tarnished Fred’s image and made him suffer. The actress claims that she is doing everything in her power and is willing to tell the judge that she wants to drop the complaint.

Júlio hurriedly enters Irene’s office and asks what the urgency was. She tells her that Lúcia pushed Marcelo away and he made a fuss and left. Irene wants her husband to discover something with Fernanda.

At her friend’s house, Aurora tells Daniela that she didn’t tell Fred the truth about the pregnancy, as he is with Vera. Daniela thinks that Aurora is being too strict and that she should be honest with the boxing instructor.
