On the day that Sérgio Duarte withdrew from Big Brother 2024, on April 22, Carolina Nunes shared in a conversation with some competitors in the most watched house in the country that she also asked for unpaid leave to participate in the reality show from TVI.

However, the license he requested was not granted: “At the company I asked if I could take unpaid leave and they immediately said no. I had to say that I was going to be shown on public television, I didn’t say what it was for, but I said that I was going to appear on television and I asked if they would give me unpaid leave“, he explained.

As a consequence, Carolina resigned: “They said no, that in the company’s contract it was impossible for any worker to have public exposure. AND I said: ‘then I say goodbye’“.

The competitor from Porto only indicated that she worked in a “consultancy” and TV Guia reported that Carolina is in the final year of her master’s degree in Systems Engineering at the University of Minho and that “worked as experienced programmer at Deloitte, one of the four largest auditing companies worldwide“.
