The PS won the legislative elections on March 10 in at least four European countries: Germany, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. AD won in Spain and Chega was the party with the most votes in Luxembourg and Switzerland, which is the key to the leadership of André Ventura’s party in the European circle.

When all that remains is to determine one of Europe’s 16 consulates, Chega leads the European circle with 41,332 votes, corresponding to 18.74%, followed by the PS (35,791 votes and 16.23%). The AD is the third most voted force, with 30,627 votes and 13.89%.

In Germany, the PS was the party with the most votes (20.07%), followed by AD (18.08%) and Chega (13.00%). In Belgium, the socialists beat Chega by just 31 votes, obtaining 17.93%, against 17.36% for the party led by André Ventura. AD obtained 16.65%.

In France, the PS also won: 18.59% against 16.75% for Chega and 12.63% for AD.

In Spain, the victory went to the coalition led by the PSD, which won 24.65% of the votes. The PS was second with 16.91% and Chega closes the podium with 9.38%.

In Luxembourg, Chega was the party with the most votes, totaling 19.61%, ahead of AD (14.27%) and PS (12.97%).

The PS won in the United Kingdom with 15.22%, followed by AD (12.57%) and Chega (10.12%).

In Switzerland, Chega won prominently, with 32.62%, followed by AD (12.89%) and PS (11.98%).
