UA man was rescued on Sunday after falling from a height of around 18 meters in the state of California, USA. He was left fighting for his life, clinging to a rock, until a helicopter arrived.
According to the BBC, the alert was given to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities used a thermal imaging camera, which allowed them to see the man clinging to a rock.
A helicopter was mobilized for the rescue. A tactical flight officer was on board the aircraft who secured the man with a harness before removing him from the rock.
The rescued man was later evaluated by a medical team and suffered only minor injuries.
