OLocal Police officers in Murcia, Spain, found a two-year-old boy wandering the street during the early hours of Sunday and later discovered that his parents were at a nightclub.
The incident took place in the Las Atalayas area, where there are several nightclubs, and the parents were, however, detained.
“Night shift officers arrested the parents of a two-year-old boy who was wandering alone on the street this morning in Atalayas”, said the Local Police of Murcia, in a post on the social network X, indicating that the “parents were at a local club”.
The child was placed in the care of the Murcia City Council’s social services and was later handed over to a great-uncle.
