A The family of Ana Knezevich, a 40-year-old real estate agent who disappeared on February 2 during a trip to Madrid, Spain, says they are “processing the latest information” following the arrest of her ex-partner in Miami.
The Knezevichs, residents of Florida, in the United States, recall that the case is being investigated.
Ana Knezevich’s ex-husband, David Knezevich, was detained at Miami International Airport upon returning from Serbia, his country of origin. However, he will have refused to testify before the American court until the secrecy of the process is lifted, explained his lawyer, Kenneth Padowitz, cited by Telecinco.
The family gives credibility to the latest published information, but asks for caution and respect. “We are processing the latest information”, they explain in a statement in which they thank the people who have helped them throughout this time, both in Spain and the United States, and for the work of the National Police and the FBI.

It should be noted that Ana disappeared last February, shortly after a man wearing a motorcycle helmet deactivated the security cameras in the Madrid apartment building where she was staying and painted the camera lenses with spray paint, reports NBC Miami.
The family remembers that the case is under secrecy. In Spain, the case is being handled by a violence against women court.
