There are abandoned buildings all over the world: from the ghost towns of the Gold Rush in the American West, to unfinished mansions in China and countless other properties full of compelling stories. Many of these buildings offer unique aesthetic opportunities, whether they are abandoned when economic prospects are exhausted, destroyed by war or natural disaster, or simply left aside when there is no longer a need.
