David Sousa is 26 years old, lives in Bem Viver, in the municipality of Marco de Canaveses and will present, next Saturday, March 2nd, his first book ‘AGS: The mystery of necklaces’. A book “Light, easy to read, but addresses very important topics, such as mental health”.

In an interview with the newspaper A TRUTH, the young computer engineer explained that he always liked “of intriguing stories and plots that surprise when we least expect it. Not only those told in books and surprising us on every page, but also those we saw in the cinema, or even on the small screen, in the popular series that are already part of our daily lives. I don’t know if the desire to write a book came from there, but I think it was my passion for fascinating plots and creating something different that led me to write a book”.

However, the young man does not consider himself “a writer, but rather a storyteller. I consider that a good story should always have some purpose or moral. That’s why with the dissemination of my work I hope that this purpose will captivate the most varied people. I saw, therefore, in writing and publishing a book a means to make a dream come true and also the possibility of sharing some of my creations with the world”.

The book ‘AGS: The mystery of the necklaces’ tells of three brothers who, “after an enigmatic call they discover that their lives were based on lies. In a desperate search for answers about their mother’s murder, they confront secrets that shake their existence, risking not only their lives, but also their own identity. This work represents a captivating story that revolves around intriguing investigations and complex characters. With surprising twists and an engaging narrative, ‘AGS: The Mystery of the Necklaces’ promises to keep readers eager for more.”.

According to David Sousa, people can expect “something different from the usual”. When he wrote the book, the young man wanted “it was accessible to everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, from those who love reading to those who only read from time to time. It is, therefore, an easy-to-read book, without complicated words or extensive descriptions. However, don’t be fooled, despite being an easy-to-read book, it addresses very current and important topics, such as mental health.”.

The young man states that, at the same time, this book is also “a challenge. Because it is a mystery, it allows people to get involved in the plot and make their guesses. I therefore invite all those interested in a good challenge to send your conjectures, as you read, to @estoriasdodavid on Instagram. I will gladly accept all opinions.”.
