A BYD revealed this Friday that the new Seal U is now available for pre-order in Portugal. The price starts at 37,228 euros (excluding VAT).
Interested parties must fill out the form available on the vehicle’s campaign page and pay 500 euros, which will be deducted when paying for the vehicle. Until June 15, 2024, when booking BYD’s new 100% electric SUV, the brand will offer three years of maintenance.
With a single engine available – 218 hp and 330 Nm of torque – the BYD Seal U can be chosen with two different batteries. One of 71.8 kWh in the Comfort equipment level and another of 87 kWh in the Design equipment level. It should be noted that the first offers up to 420 kilometers of autonomy and the second offers a maximum of 500.
With front-wheel drive, the Seal U reaches a top speed of 175 km/h and accelerates in 9.3 seconds. With an 11 kW direct current onboard charger, this new BYD model promises to restore 50% of capacity in around 30 minutes.
