The concert given by David Carreira at a metro station gave rise to a rumour… now denied by the singer.
As a way of presenting the work recently released by David Carreira, “OYTO”, the singer gave a show at the Alameda metro station, in Lisbon, last Monday, the 22nd.
The fact that the red line was interrupted led to the rumor that this situation was related to David Carreira’s concert. On Instagram, however, the artist was quick to put the dots on the i’s.
“Hello everyone! Guys, I’m making this video to clarify a rumor that is running on social networks, saying that the red line would have been cut because of my concert in the Alameda metro, yesterday, at 6 pm”, started by saying, this Tuesday, the 23rd, the singer.
“That’s not the case,” he promptly assured David Carreira. “I don’t know if the metro has already clarified it, but I prefer to do it now. The red line was cut, at least from what I’m told, because of a breakdown that happened around four in the afternoon. So, there was nothing what to do with the concert. If it had to do with the concert, I wouldn’t even have done the concert, because I wouldn’t want to make people’s lives difficult and their return home, which is already very difficult”, he noted.
“From my side, it was quite peaceful. There was a good energy and people had a good time. Those are certain things that I can’t control. So, I just wanted to clarify that it was because of a breakdown and not because of my concert” , he stressed, by way of finishing.
