The artist was presented with the award for Best Actor in the “New York Movie Awards”, for his performance in the film “Night Tour”, produced in 2021.
“Seeing Portuguese cinema recognized in one of the world’s cinema capitals is a source of pride. We are very proud because a film is always a team effort. It was made with a lot of passion and a lot of love for cinema. I am very happy and honored by the distinction, but the real prize is always the process, the final result and delivery to the public”, are the actor’s words about this award, according to the agency Glam.
The actor stars in this short film, together with Madalena Brandãowhich was written and directed by Rita Féria.
“Night Tour” was filmed in 2021 and participated in several competitions, namely in the “New York Movie Awards”, an annual international film festival in New York, which has been taking place for 5 years, and has 38 categories, rewarding the best international television and film projects.
