A controversy related to the photo edited by Kate Middleton served as inspiration for Blake Lively’s most recent share on social media.

The American actress turned to Instagram to promote her new drinks brand, having created a caricatured montage that is a clear reference to everything that has been said about the photograph published on the Princes of Wales’ page.

In the sharing, Blake’s face appears superimposed on a body that does not appear to be his, leaning against a swimming pool and with a thumb that is larger than normal.

In the comments box, it is clear that the joke was not understood by everyone. Some say that the image does not seem real, while other people explain that the joke is based on the situation involving the British royal family.

It is worth remembering that Kate Middleton made several edits to a photograph with her three children, with which she intended to mark Mother’s Day. The changes were so obvious that news agencies that had published it decided, shortly afterwards, to withdraw it. The Princess of Wales came out publicly to accept responsibility, apologizing.
