Elianaone of the most charismatic and beloved presenters on Brazilian television, will end her journey with SBT in June 2024. This milestone ends a professional partnership full of success and memorable moments that lasted for almost 15 years.
According to the broadcaster’s press office, the decision was made amicably, consolidating a period of great achievements and learning for both Eliana and SBT.
Why is Eliana leaving SBT?
Feeling that it was the right time to seek new professional challenges, Eliana chose to end her partnership with SBT. This decision, taken jointly and harmoniously, opens up space for the presenter to explore new opportunities, without forgetting the countless joys and achievements experienced at the station.
What will be Eliana’s future after SBT?
Although she is saying goodbye to the broadcaster’s day-to-day activities, Eliana will not cut all ties with SBT. She will continue to act as Godmother of the Telethon and will make special appearances to present the charity fundraising program for AACD.
Eliana’s trajectory on Brazilian television
Eliana began her career in music in the late 80s and, in 1991, joined SBT, beginning a seven-year journey leading children’s programs. In 1998, she moved to Record TV, maintaining her focus on children and young people until 2005. That was when she changed her focus to family audiences, implementing a successful Sunday program that ended up catching the attention of Silvio Santos. The invitation to return to SBT came in 2009, and Eliana accepted, bringing to the network a program named after her, aimed at the whole family and full of fun, emotion and great interviews.
