Jennifer Garner’s father died

It was last Saturday, March 30th, that his father died. Jennifer Garner, William John, aged 85. Through social media, the actress communicated the sad news, leaving a beautiful tribute to her father, along with some photographic memories.

“My father died peacefully on Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing ‘Amazing Grace’, when he left us (did we help him or scare him – a valid question)”, the actress began by writing, in a relaxed tone.

“Although I know there is no tragedy in the death of an 85-year-old man who lived a healthy and wonderful life, I know that grief is inevitable, waiting in unexpected corners,” she continued, later adding several reasons why she feels grateful.

“We are grateful for Dad’s gentle stance and quiet strength. For how he played with a sly smile and for the way he invented the role of a present and eternally patient father of girls. We are grateful for your work ethic, leadership and faith.”, Garner said. Soon after, the actress made a point of thanking “medical communities” that improved – and prolonged – William’s quality of life.

Finally, the artist guaranteed: “There is so much to say about my father – my sisters and I will never tire of talking about how amazing he was, so bear with us – but for today, I share these memories with my admiration for the man, father and grandfather loving and brilliant man that he was, as well as the beloved legacy he leaves“.

It should be noted that the actress’s parents, William and Patriciawere married for 59 years and had two other daughters, Melissa It is Susannah.
