Lili Caneças, who will turn 80 this Thursday (4), is once again at the center of the controversy.

In an interview with the magazine News MagazineThe socialite stated: “For me, having wrinkles is the same as having bad teeth. I speak openly because it has to be demystified. I don’t do surgery to look younger, everyone knows my age. There are people who say that every wrinkle counts, I don’t need wrinkles for this, I can tell all the stories. And I can prove to people that you can grow old without being old” (here).

The statements were commented on the “Noite das Estrelas” program this Tuesday, April 2nd. Duarte Siopa, one of the commentators present in the studio, pointed the finger at Lili Caneças: “There’s no reason! For now, it can be misinterpreted. It is clear that many people say ‘I have plastic surgery, for example, when I need to get a tooth fixed, I also get a tooth fixed’. It’s part of the aesthetic. So far so good”.

We can’t talk like this because there are many people who have teething problems because, unfortunately, in our country they don’t have support and I think this is an insult to people. Therefore, we have to be careful”, he added.
