Cristina Ferreira was once again awarded by ‘Executiva’ magazine as one of the most influential women in Portugal, last week.
During her speech, the TVI ‘boss’ said: “If they tell me tomorrow: ‘Cristina, you have a great job here as an accountant, you’re going to earn a fortune’, I’ll tell you: ‘It’s not worth it’. Because I won’t do this job well, because I won’t be a good accountant“.
“There’s something I’ve always said (and that people might not believe, because they know I’m one of the highest paid people in the country), but I’ve never accepted anything, nor done anything, for money! And one day, a long time from now, you will realize all this… I did what I felt would make me want to build“, he added, citing the magazine TV More.
With a television career spanning 20 years, Cristina Ferreira feels that “I always grabbed opportunities because I was prepared, I didn’t let them get away“.
