The comedian countered and said he liked it when “deputies worked for the people” instead of “bashing on the internet”. The discussion provoked a wave of attacks from Nikolas’ supporters against Whindersson, involving their old relationship and even the fact that his first child, premature, died shortly after birth.
This Sunday, in Rio, Nikolas attacked President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and praised former President Bolsonaro, as well as pastor Silas Malafaia. In a speech lasting just over five minutes, the Bolsonaro deputy said that the country does not need more bills and amendments, but rather men with testosterone in charge.
“This country doesn’t need more bills, this country doesn’t need amendments anymore. This country needs men with testosterone. That’s what this country needs. And I’m sure that’s what these two men (Bolsonaro and Silas) represent”, said the deputy, who also asked for applause to Elon Musk, businessman who owns the X.
The act, in defense of Bolsonaro – being investigated for an alleged attempted coup d’état – was driven by the billionaire’s recent criticism of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and minister Alexandre de Moraes.
