After staying out of the spotlight for a year, comedian Mike Myers, famous for the ‘Austin Powers’ franchise and ‘The Stupider, the Better’, emerged with a new look at the AFI Life Achievement Award event in honor of Nicole Kidman’s career.
The 60-year-old star showed off his military-cut gray hair, very different from the long, brown strands he used to wear in the past.
Myers – considered one of the most ‘difficult’ stars in Hollywood – paraded on the event’s red carpet greeting fans and took to the awards stage wearing a mask and cape costume similar to that seen in the film ‘Eyes Wide Shut’, one of the biggest hits Nicole Kidman made alongside her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
In cinema, Mike Myers’ last role took place in the film ‘Amsterdam’ (2022) by David O. Russell; and on TV his last appearance took place in the miniseries ‘O Pentavirato’.
Rumors pointed out that Myers would resume the ‘Austin Powers’ franchise, with the actor himself saying he would love to bring back the spy’s dentures and pectoral hair, but there have been no updates for some time about the production of the fourth film, which would be the sequel to ‘Austin Powers’. in The Man with the Golden Member’, 2002.
